Found this after digging through my old writing folder. It's surprisingly good, actually. In my head, I think, it was connected to this (http://frickin-cheng.livejournal.com/31217.html#cutid1) story I wrote, which I think I came up with after watching Mononoke. It's short and worksafe.

More original stuff. Influenced by reading Perdido Street Station. Completely work-safe and short.

A story based on the poem I wrote, Bone Cutter, Witch Doctor. Worksafe, and I would love some feedback. ^^

Just playing around with words. Influenced by watching Mononoke, methinks.

They called him bone-cutter, witch doctor
There was no illness he couldn’t cure, no ailment he couldn’t fix
Long, long fingers, brittle-thin, rough
Skin translucent as ice
One eye silken coal, the other milky white-blue, always looking, staring accusing
Rail thin, whispering, never shouting, never talking
Enough cures and remedies to turn a blind eye to the disappearances at night

*gasp* A slight break in the writers block. Just a little drabble. Original stuff even. *more gasps*
